August 14th - 16th 2008 Join in on the 8th annual Police Escorted America's 9/11 Ride Honoring the 7th Anniversary of September 11, 2001. This is a Police Escorted Motorcycle Ride to the Three Crash Sites. To all members,
    A picture of the 2008 BLUE KNIGHTS COPSRUN Shield, that will be sold this year, can be found on the BK COPSRUN website by clicking on "Photo Gallery" once you have entered the site: www.blueknightscopsrun.org. The shield is a two tone (Gold & Silver) shield. There will be 100 shields sold and they will be numbered 1 through 100. The shields will be sold for $100.00 each. Those members who bought a  numbered shield last year, will have first refusal on the purchase of the same number (or numbers) shield this year. Any shields that are not purchased, by the members who have decided not to buy their number this year, will be offered to members on the waiting list. All money raised by the sale of these shields will go to Concerns of Police Survivors (COPS). For more information about purchasing these shields, please contact Liz Cook at 845-386-2852 or mustangliz@frontiernet.net. A picture of the 2008 BK COPSRUN Shield can also be found on the NY XVIII Chapter website at www.bknyxviii.org.

Hi Mark,

Our chapter sells the Blue Knight reflective back patches which not only look good but are a great safety item when riding at night. We have a page on our website where we like to post photos of members wearing the reflective patches. I see someone from your chapter purchased the smaller 4 inch front reflective patch in October 2006. I’d be happy to send out a free WI XI challenge coin if we receive a photo of a Blue Knight wearing the crest set or reflective patch that we use on the web page.
